Martino Torquati was born in Fermo, Italy. After graduating in French horn (Bachelor) at the Conservatorio di Musica "G.B. Pergolesi" of Fermo, Italy, in 2007 and at the Academy of Music and Drama (Master in Orchestra Playing) of Göteborg, Sweden in 2013.

Parallel to his performing career he studied composition graduating in 2015 at the Conservatorio di Musica "G.B.Pergolesi" of Fermo, Italy.

In 2019 he earned a Master degree in Composition at the Malmö Music Academy studying with Luca Francesconi.

He is currently attending first year of Master Diploma in Composition at the Academy of Music of Malmö.

In 2017 "Viae Modus" for string orchestra has been performed in Växjö by Musica Vitae string orchestra conducted by Michael Bartosch.

In 2018 "Immergo" for orchestra has been premiered in Helsingborg by Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Bartosch.
